Our Services
Information Technology Hub
We provide an IT Hub at our main office where the public can drop in and use our computers at no cost. We also offer printing, photocopying, laminating and binding services for a small fee. Click here for our price list.
IT in the Home
We visit people in their own home and teach them how to use their mobile phone or computer. We can also assist people to get up and running with their internet connection. We also help people with Facebook and social media with the goal of reducing social isolation and loneliness.
Seniors Alert Scheme
The Seniors Alert Scheme (SAS) has been established to encourage community support for vulnerable older people in our communities. It provides funding for a personal monitored alarm, connected to a contact centre to enable older persons of 65 or older and of limited means, to continue to live securely in their homes with confidence, independence and peace of mind.
Care and Repair Programme
This FREE programme is available to older people, people with a disability or those on low income, living in the Letterkenny area.
Our environmental workers will do the following:

► Outdoor work e.g. minor maintenance.
► Environmental work with residents' associations.

Volunteer in your home
We have volunteers who wish to do voluntary work but are confined to their homes for various reasons, so we provide them with training and materials so they can use their skills to make items to be sold in our charity shop.
Book Club
Our members, who cannot avail of the library service for various reasons, contact our team and give them the details of the types of book they like to read, we choose books from our stock and deliver to their door. When they are finished reading, we collect the books and deliver more from our stock.

Adult Education
We plan and organise community education courses as identified by our service users for people over 25 years of age. We do this in association with Donegal ETB.
Charity Shop
We have established a charity shop in our premises which helps us to generate an income to help with overheads and other expenses. We also use the shop to support new communities that are disadvantaged by war etc. We have drop in shop for the Ukrainian community, refugees and asylum seekers. We also provide voluntary work for people from new communities to help them address isolation and encourage them to integrate in our community.
Work Experience
We provide work placement and work experience for transition year students and third level students in our project.
Affordable Childcare
We have a preschool facility in Letterkenny and make provision for 40 preschool children to prepare them for national school.
Community Events
We plan and organise events on an annual basis in our community that encourage people to get involved in their community and create a sense of achievement and of ownership in their day to day lives.
Creative Corner
We sell unique handmade pieces such as vases, book folding houses and jewellery.
We are a unique charity shop, where we sell both used/recycled items and handcrafted gifts made by local people. Need something different as a gift or for yourself? Then the Creative Corner Charity Shop in The Courtyard Shopping Centre is the place to visit!
All funds raised in our charity shop go towards the stability of the Letterkenny Community Development Project, where we work together with vulnerable people in the community with the hope of making a better future for everyone.
